How much will it cost?

I will provide a fixed, no obligation quote for the work once I have a full picture of what is required. This will cover minor amendments and revisions to be made. I can invoice per project, per day or per hour depending on the size of the project and what works for you, but I find quoting for the entire project, no matter how long it takes, works best.

What do your charges include?

The fee covers everything I do for you and the project: consultation, research and reading, telephone and email consultations, producing concept and copy and any reasonable revisions. Depending on the work agreed, it may cover an outline and 1-2 drafts.

What information do you need from me?

I will take a fully comprehensive brief about the work, along with any direction from you at the start of the project. Any information about the business, including any existing marketing information will be invaluable for me to build up clear picture about your business.

Do we need to meet?

We can do but I find that email and the telephone work equally as well.

What if the brief changes or if I want to make changes?

That’s ok, if the brief hasn’t changed wildly then my original cost covers any reasonable revisions. If there are significant changes and I have already done some work, then I need to be paid for what I have done. I will then provide a quote based on the new brief.

How knowledgeable are you about my business?

It doesn’t matter, you are hiring me for my copywriting expertise. Chances are, I’ll have done work in your sector previously, but more importantly I’ll be approaching the work from the viewpoint of your potential customer. I’ll do background research and if I need additional information I will ask you for it.

How long will it take?

We will agree the timeframe for the project at the start. It depends on the type of work you want done, how quickly you want it, and my availability.
